So far, we have sprouting beans, lettuce, cucumber, I think carrot and, in the white planter, that there is corn. No, we don't expect them to survive the transfer into the ground, but at least we know the seeds work. We got them at Wal-Mart so ya never know.
Next we'll be heading to Rural King for stuff, which may be a dangerous thing. They're selling baby chicks for $1.50. The advertisement says they'll grow into fleshy, meaty monsters. Mmmmm... chicken.
You a gardener? I'm impressed. And while I don't even know you, I pictured you as a hard-hitting, shoot-from-the-hip type guy. I still think that, but the garden adds character depth. Very cool!

I'm like an onion. As Mike Tyson once put so elegantly, "My style is impetuous. Me defense is impregnable." Of course, he also said, "I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah." And that is awesome.
ReplyDeleteGardening! What fun! Maybe with some of the ripe manure we'd do better. Every year it seems to be a race between the little white flies, the big ugly tomato worms and the tomatoes ripening :)
